Walk Through Metal Detectors.
Security metal detectors play an essential role in ensuring people are safe by detecting concealed weapons such as guns, knives or foil-wrapped hidden drugs. They can also be configured to detect cameras and mobile phones.
Walk through metal detectors are increasingly being used in various locations, including places of work, places of worship, public buildings, events, and even in schools and colleges. They come as fixed units for static locations and rapid deployment units for temporary use, such as events. They are available in single zone configuration, which alerts that metal has been detected on a person or in multiple zone configuration homing in on a more specific location on the person. Their level of detection sensitivity can be adjusted to meet varying threats. Walk through metal detectors can screen a high number of people quickly; a single metal detector arch is capable of screening up to 60 people per minute.
